Mili gets annoyed...

Mili got very cross today. The source of Mili's peevishness lies squarely with Bob, who, according to Mili absolutely completely definitely must NOT break wind right into the sofa. For those who were previously unaware, doing this will pollute the receiving sofa indefintely. It is very important, Mili says, to lift one's leg so as to avoid any direct contact.

Bob is secretly pleased at his new directive from Mili. It is after all, much more fun.

Bob wonders...

Today Bob and Mili had a visitor. Except Mili was out so really it was just Bob receiving the visit. Bob, who can sometimes be generous, let his visitor stay over and even gave up his bed so that the tired visitor, who is a mother and therefore of high status in society, could have a whole night's sleep in a comfortable bed without any waking up of any kind.

Bob slept on the sofa taking great care not to let the cover touch the smelly floor. In the morning, he found a squashed creature on the floor and wondered whether an unthoughtfully placed shoe had caused it's demise - or maybe it was the fumes from the carpet.

Bob wonders.....can fumes squash you flat?

Bob and Mili try to live smell free

Bob and Mili live in a smelly basement apartment in a green corner of Portland, Oregon. Smelly because they can't get rid of the rich bouquet of the dog formally residing in their apartment, who apparently shed it's entire coat into the carpet.

Having tried several shampoos, baking soda and shouting at it, they have finally come to a place of accepting that the carpet, and consequently the apartment, smells.

Acceptance is clearly a good thing, because now Bob is not shouting so much at the carpet and is living happily with the window open, the air purifier on full and incense burning.

Mili is refusing to put anything down on the carpet, which is not an easy task. She is also wondering whether moving house might help get rid of the smell.

Bob and Mili have decided to share some of their fascinating wonders about life and the world with you.
